Moulin Rouge Soiree – Confetti Stage 2015

Confetti Stage were pleased with Water by the Spoonful and asked if I could whip up a promo poster for a fundraising party with a Moulin Rouge theme. Once again, time was tight so I suggested we bogart one of those Toulouse Lautrec prints because Yellow / Black / Red is a pretty unstoppable eyecatcher. Just ask any schoolbus. They agreed and suggested the windmill with Moulin Rouge related virtues on the propeller.

I used a rough photoshop brush to make-believe some ink lines and the rest is all just fake texture.
